SAP Aerospace is developing the next-generation Lean Burn combustor technology to power UCAVs. Radially staged combustor with pilot and main mixers is employed to optimize the operability and fuel burn rates of the engine.

Fuel Flexible Combustor

Fuel-Flexibility is the need & necessity for modern gas turbine engine. SAP Aerospace is building the next-generation Fuel-Flexible Engine,which can run not only on different gaseous fuel but with different liquid fuels too. We are accelerating our efforts to achieve 100% hydrogen fired combustion.

Our team have implemented  cutting edge additive manufacturing technology to realize complex engine components resulting in compact design & lesser weight.

Lab scale gas turbine test rig

This atmospheric ambient combustor rig has served as the first platform for hotfiring our fuel-flexible single-sector combustor. The above rig has the capability to test various gaseous fuels, such as hydrogen, methane, and LPG, and liquid fuels, such as Jet A1, kerosene, and biofuels.
